The Very Best of Local

Coywolf Farms

We are a small farm located in the village of Canning, in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. We aim to grow the very best quality, and best tasting, produce we possibly can. Growing in real soil, no hydroponics, no chemicals, we seek natural nutrition at maximum levels.

Find our produce at these Stores and Restaurants and at our weekly Farm Stand.

A Focus on Soil — For Exceptional Quality

No-Till, No Spray, No Chemical Fertilizers. We strive to foster the native soil biology and it's complex ecosystem of bacteria, fungi and other micro-organisms. These populations release and cycle nutrients in proportions that are ideal for healthy plant growth. Minimal soil disturbance and no chemical inputs avoids disrupting these important systems for resilient plants that produce nutrient dense and highly flavourful vegetables.

Small Scale — Big Flavour

Our small, high intensity, farm is largely human powered with little mechanized assistance (no tractors). This hands on approach, more akin to pre-industrial market farming, with the help of the latest in soil science understanding, produces the best tasting vegetables around. Those who've tasted our lettuce mix, or our cilantro, or our french beans, know exactly what we're talking about.

EAT WELL!
